How to Make Human in Infinite Craft

Combine Angel + Devil = Human. The complete route below starts with Water, Earth, Fire and Wind and takes seven combinations. The complete Zombie-and-Cure alternative takes thirteen.

A six-combination benchmark is shorter than both. However, its numbered recipe and accompanying explanation disagree about the count: six rows versus seven steps.

Complete Seven-Step Route: Angel + Devil

  1. Water + Earth = Plant
  2. Fire + Wind = Smoke
  3. Smoke + Plant = Incense
  4. Smoke + Incense = Prayer
  5. Prayer + Incense = Angel
  6. Angel + Smoke = Devil
  7. Angel + Devil = Human

This route has no missing ingredient-building steps. Plant and Smoke lead to Incense, Prayer and Angel; Angel and Smoke then produce Devil for the final combination.

Complete Thirteen-Step Route: Zombie + Cure

  1. Wind + Earth = Dust
  2. Dust + Dust = Sand
  3. Sand + Fire = Glass
  4. Glass + Water = Wine
  5. Wine + Fire = Alcohol
  6. Alcohol + Wine = Drunk
  7. Drunk + Alcohol = Hangover
  8. Hangover + Wine = Cure
  9. Sand + Sand = Desert
  10. Desert + Sand = Pyramid
  11. Fire + Pyramid = Mummy
  12. Mummy + Cure = Zombie
  13. Zombie + Cure = Human

This route builds two branches. One reaches Cure; the other reaches Mummy. They join at Zombie, and Cure appears again in the final Human combination.

Six, Seven or Thirteen Steps?

RouteCombination count from starting elementsCompleteness
Six-step benchmark6 numbered combinationsComplete written sequence; accompanying explanation says 7
Angel + Devil7Every required ingredient is supplied
Zombie + Cure13Every required ingredient is supplied

The six-step benchmark has a counting conflict. Its numbered recipe contains six combinations, but the accompanying explanation calls the route seven steps. Those statements describe the same route—not two different recipes.

Counting the combination rows gives six. Using the explanation alone would hide its one-step advantage over the Angel-and-Devil route.

Seven steps does not mean shortest available. The Angel-and-Devil route is complete, but the six-combination benchmark is shorter. “The fastest route I’ve found” describes someone’s search so far; it does not establish that no shorter route exists.

The thirteen-step route has a different issue: it is longer, but it is not missing steps. Its count includes both ingredient-building branches. Counting only Mummy + Cure and Zombie + Cure would omit the eleven combinations needed to reach those ingredients.

Which Alternative Endings Are Missing Steps?

Some Human instructions give an ending without supplying a complete route from the starting elements. Their lengths cannot be compared fairly with six, seven or thirteen complete combinations.

Alternative endingMissing dependencyCan its full length be established?
Carbon-and-Life endingThe path to CarbonNo
Adam-and-Eve endingThe path to AppleNo
Monkey-and-Big-Bang endingThe intermediate sequence leading to Jungle and MonkeyNo
Monkey-and-Rebirth endingThe same incomplete Monkey branchNo
Science-and-Life endingThe path to ScienceNo

The Carbon-and-Life ending leaves Carbon unexplained. Counting its final combinations would count only the ending, not the work required to reach it.

The Adam-and-Eve ending requires Apple. A written final sequence does not remove that dependency; without the Apple path, the total remains unknown.

The Monkey routes contain a more specific omission: “loop output until jungle.” That instruction skips intermediate combinations. Replacing Big Bang with Rebirth changes the final partner, but leaves the missing Monkey branch unresolved.

The Science-and-Life ending likewise needs a complete path to Science before its starting-element count can be established.

These gaps do not prove that the endings fail. They mean the instructions do not supply enough information to follow and count the entire route.

Different Recipes Versus Conflicting Claims

Angel-and-Devil and Zombie-and-Cure use different ingredients to reach Human. That alone is not a contradiction.

The actual conflict is narrower: one complete recipe has six numbered combinations but is described as seven steps. The incomplete endings present a separate problem: their final ingredients are named, but their preparation is missing.

For the routes compared here, the six-combination benchmark has the lowest written count. The seven-step Angel-and-Devil route and thirteen-step Zombie-and-Cure route are complete alternatives. The remaining endings cannot be assigned a complete count without adding steps that their instructions do not provide.
